How Do Porta Cabins Manufactured?
Porta cabins are manufactured by metal system. Maxprefabs uses galvanized metal to produce porta cabin. Porta cabins are manufactured by weldless system. The main components of the porta cabin are the bottom and top chasis, columns, sandwich panel walls and roof covering, windows, doors, electiricity and mechanical parts. The chasises are manufactured by weldless system and joined by bolts and nuts.
The bottom chasis is covered by fibercement board and vinyl is used on top.
The wall panels are well insulated in different thicnesses; 50-60-80-100 mm.
The roof is covered by PU insulated sandwich panels.
Insulated metal doors are used for for external doors.
PVC double glazing windows are used.
Ce certified electrical ald mechanical components are used.
Porta cabin containers are mainly use in site areas for accomodation purposes. The other areas are prefabricated labour camps, prefabricated engineer camps, gas line sites, military sites and in city centre.

The standard dimension for the porta cabins is 240*600 cm (20 ft). However, the other dimensions are also avaliable according to customer requirements.
The porta cabins are well equipped with corner castings and forclift pockets. By this way the porta cabins can be easily moved from one place to other by using of forclift and / or crane.
The porta cabins can also be manufactured as demounted to ship the porta cabins with a less transportation cost. The porta cabins can be packed as demountable version, but also can be shipped as flat pack type.
